Awkward to handle

The Bottom Line: There are other hand held vacuums on the market that might be better suited for the type of dog hair pick up that I need, this one isn't.
I was excited to try another Dyson product as I already have two Dyson vacuums. This hand-held vac is a rather awkward to hold. If you have any issues with your hands this isn't the vac for you. You have to hold the trigger (power on) button the whole time you use it, it doesn't lock into position. After reading reviews about the six-min run time, I don't have a problem w/that since this is for quick pick-ups. Mainly wanted it for our vehicles, while it does well on most dirt and small rocks it's not really effective in getting the dog hair picked-up. Dog hair seems to stick to the carpet and this isn't powerful enough to pick it up. Even if you go over and over the area with dog hair it won't pick up most of it.The dirt compartment is very small and the dog hair that it does manage to pick-up clogs it so you need to put your fingers in to remove the debris. Since the vac is cordless it makes it easier to move around the area you are working in. Comes with three attachments. Easy to change attachments. You can hang it on the wall with the bracket that is provided.
