Horrendous customer service. Sorry... I'd need a thesaurus to come up with a plethora of ways to describe their complete lack of effort to ensure customer satisfaction.
Never received my order because it was sent to wrong address. Contacted buy.com immediately upon seeing my receipt when noted it was being shipped to an apartment I lived at 5 years ago. Was told it wouldn't be a problem and they'd make sure the mistake was corrected.
I received a tracking number with the wrong address in my email. Was on the phone with them for TWO DAYS straight trying to make sure it would be changed. The conversations eroded from "no problem" to "nothing we can do about it." Seriously? I ship things off on a daily basis for my company and all it would take would be one 5 minute phone call to UPS.
Instead, I was bombarded with deflective responses and a complete lack of effort on anyone's part. Now, someone at my old apartment (yes, I contacted the property manager numerous times to let them know what was happening... and yes, the renter of said apartment stole the package and claimed ignorance) has a new computer.
Bottom line is: Whatever money you think you might save is a complete gamble as this company cares nothing about you or your experience.
