I was looking for some reviews before I decided to jump into Spedia but most of the reviews are about a year old. So here I am writing a more updated version.
I must say that among all the PayToSurf companies, Spedia is the only one that is worth your time nowadays. Spedia has been around for quite some time now and they have been very reliable in terms of sending cheques out.There are a few ways to earn money on Spedia...
Spedia Bar
This is your main income. Upon signing up with spedia, you would be required to download a spedia bar from them. This Bar will display banners as you surf and you would be able to earn 30cents an hour for international users and 49cents per hour for US users. There are also a rate for Premier members but in order to get that rate which is 70cents an hour for US users and 50cents for international users.
This bar will take up about one-tenth of your screen and will display two banners when you surf. There is a dot at the bottom left of the bar indicating whether you are earning point or not. The dot will be green if you are earning points while Yellow and red means you are not earning points. The Spedia bar requires you to change URL every 30seconds or not it would stop crediting points to your account. The crediting has been consistent without any problems.
Instant Cash
Spedia will award you points for signing up for programs . There are plenty of programs to choose from but most of them are gambling sites but there are a few that are decent, for example sending a picture(any picture) to a website and you will get 150 points for it. I have tried a couple of these programs but I have not received points for it, according to Spedia it may take about 2-4 weeks so I am fine with that since I just signed up for some of the free programs.
E-Mail
You will also be awarded 5 to 10points for every e-mail you receive from sponsors and it says that you don’t need to reply them. I guess mine are all in the junk mail section.
Referrals
Spedia has a 5 tier referral meaning you get 10percent from the first person you refer and for the next 4 person that is referred by the person you referred you get 5 percent form each of them. Just to make it simple, You asked A to join and he joined and in the next couple of weeks he asked B,C,D and E to join so in total, you will get 10 percent from A and 5 percent from B,C,D and E.
Games
It says that you can earn points by playing their games but I have never got my points credited. However It is ok to play some of their games when you are free because its not all that bad. I found myself playing the games there just for the fun of it.

Site
The Spedia website is very user-friendly compared to other sites and you can always check your balance just by a click of your mouse. There is also a detailed stats page in case you need to know your annual earnings, monthly earnings etc.
Conclusions
The main dislike I have about this spedia bar is that whenever It is launched or shut down, it would open up a spedia promotion page and also alter my homepage settings to spedia's website. This is often an inconvenience because I am not the only person using the computer and most of spedia’s advertisements are online gambling ads.
You would also have to install a program which is called Surf+ but it doesn't seem to affect me so I am fine with that.If you can bear with that, then you should really sign up for spedia. I have heard people who had problems with Surf+ but I have not encountered any problem yet.
I currently only use the Spedia Bar occasionally or when I am in the “ItPaysToLearn” site because I really dislike the fact that Spedia changes my homepage settings everytime. If you can bear with it, then Spedia is a win-win situation. You will only gain, not lose.
Looking at other PayToSurf companies, I must give Spedia 4 stars.
