Quality of Tech Support:
Pros:Great price, very strong architecture, very solid,
Cons:the video card and, maybe, the technical support from Dell
The Bottom Line: If you don't need great performance, buy it
I am a HelpDesk Engineer and my company use only Dell brand (PC'S and laptops). So, I can give you a lot of useful information about all these Dell equipments. Specifically with this one, the price is very good and the overall performance is high for a person who does not need a laptop for business, but only for personal use, writing, even accounting, but forget about powerful programs or even games. The video card is the weakest part of the laptop: it came with a small amount of MB and you can even have problems when you'll try to change the operating system.
The hard drive is quite small for a nowadays laptop, as well as the RAM. As I've told you, it's a starting laptop, without great performance. In fact, the Celeron processor is cheap and not as powerfull as a PIII or AMD, but that's why the laptop is so cheap.
As a conclusion, it's worth the money, is the best deal for this performance.
