We applied for a Quicken Loan refinance mortgage on 2/5/11 and we actually closed on 3/7/11!  To do this via the internet was the easiest thing we've ever done.  We've closed on several mortgages and this was by far the easiest.  We would definitely go this route again in the future and would recommend it to all.  We were somewhat leary of applying for a loan on the internet but we've always gotten good service from Quicken products so we felt we had nothing to lose and everything to gain.  We were stuck in a 10% interest only 5 year balloon that had only 3 1/2 years to go.  The loan person that we first talked to was the same one that went through the entire process with us.  We weren't shuffled from one person to the next which was a relief.  Whenever we had a question, we emailed our loan person and she responded in a timely manner.  The actual loan closing process (signing all the docs) was the fastest, easiest closing we have ever done.  Whoever thought of a mortgage process like this should be congratulated.  If you can use a computer, you can apply for a Quicken Loan.  Heck, if you can't use one, get your grandchild to do it for you!  I received a $5 gift card for writing this review, regardless of whether I had a positive or negative experience.
