I was initially skeptical about using Netflix,despite recommendations from friends and family.
It was very easy to sign up and start my free 30 day trial.There are lots of choice in different categories,from cartoons and comedies to thrillers and everything in between. Placing movies in the queue is very easy and can be changed at any time.
If one has a blu-ray player,X Box or Wii,instant streaming to the tv or computer is available starting at $8/month.For those that dont,unlimited movies by mail start at $10 month,with many different plans available. However,only one movie is allowed out at any time with this plan.
Turn-around time is 1 to 2 calendar days. You mail the movie back in the same envelope it arrived in,with pre-paid postage.
The only real downside is that some of the older movies need to be digitally remastered,
Update-They have "separated" the dvd service from the "streaming video" service and have priced them individually. It used to be $10 a month for both streaming and one-at-a-time dvd: now its $15.98 a month. But the dvd only service starts at $7.99/month which is fine for my needs.There are no return deadlines.
All in all, I recommend Netflix.
