I ordered the Ediet for four weeks. The snacks were never the ones they show on line. They were always substituted by trail mixes and lesser quality products. Don't expect your food meals to come as you order either. They will substitute those as well. Most of the food was bland and unremarkable. You are better off having a great tasting can of soup, and really enjoy the taste. The calories will be the same. I had to call the customer service dept at least 2-3 times a week. A few agent were nice enough, but in general, they were ill informed and gave wrong info. You will get different advice from different agents. No consistency whatsoever. Ediet claims to have 24hr "unparalleled member service", and I can assure you this is a big gigantic false statement. The representative will answer your questions from probably a pre-written form, so they all sound like robots. Nothing is personalized, as they claim. You are getting the same meals and plans as the next guy. My second week order didn't come on the day they promised. I had to waste time calling them to find my order, only to be told it was going to be late. They knew it was going to come late, and didn't give me the courtesy of calling to tell me. My last order came a complete disaster. At least 5 of the meals were busted open and I spent a couple of hours cleaning up the mess and rotten food. When I called to get refunded, they made me feel like it was my fault, and the manager only offered to refund me $20. She was rude and exhibited no customer service skills. I am a director of customer service at a large food chain company, and I can tell you that Ediet has long way to go in the customer service department. Please skip Ediet and move on to something better.
