When we decided to refinance our home, we contacted many companies for information. We had a little over 12 years to pay on our current mortgage at a rate that was higher than the market was currently offering. We were contacted by many companies, and it was apparebnt that the representatives from the other mortgage companies only had a cursory understanding of complicated loans.

The Mortgage Rep at Quicken Loans was by far the most knowledgeable and patient of all of the people we spoke with. We had many questions about the various loans available and our representative took the time to explain each in detail, along with the advantages to each loan. He ran amortization charts, ran figures with us, discussed how to close the loan quickly, and figured out how to save us the appraisal fee.

At one point, we were offered a lower rate from a competing company.  He worked hard to get us a matching rate, too. The online application and document process is terrific. It is easy to see what has been given, print out documents and forms, and follow the process of the loan. Of course, our mortgage rep was there every step of the way to make sure our needs were taken care of.

 Our processor also offered wonderful service and kept us informed along the way, making sure that we understood what was happening with our closing and resolving one minor issue that occurred swiftly. We closed our loan in 10 days, in my own dining room! It was an amazing experience, one that I would recommend heartily to anyone.
