I spent a few hours calling different local shops and other sites trying to locate the wheels I wanted to no avail since nobody carried the brand except one (unnamed) site with many awful reviews. Out of desperation I called Discount Tire Direct and explained that the wheels I was looking for couldn't be found on their site but I was wondering if they could special order them.
The rep I spoke with, Jim, was extremely helpful. He kept me on the line as he researched what distributor the brand went through then located warehouses and started calling to see if anyone had them. After 10-15 minutes he found a set and arranged to get them for me, we selected tires and arranged to have them mounted and road force balanced before shipping them to me ($40 extra for road force balancing which is quite reasonable if you look at the going rates). He gave me some great advice on the tires, I ended up going with the Hankook Ventus ST RH06 on his recommendation and I am extremely happy with them. All in all I ended up paying less for the wheels and tires than I had expected to and they arrived in less than a week complete with mounting hardware (gorilla locking lug nuts).
I would not hesitate to do business here again after my experience. Some of the other large sites turned me down flat when I asked about getting the wheels special ordered (Boss 335s in black) but Jim helped me out and made it a pleasant experience.
