Don't go with SunScam

Pros:Good Area
Cons:Automatic renewal of service. No night and weekend minutes. Bad customer service.
The Bottom Line: Unless you want to stay with them forever ... go elsewhere.

I signed up for the a one year service term with SunCom. What they didn't explain was that you are automatically renewed every year for the REST OF YOUR FREAKIN' LIFE!!!!!!! In order to end the contract you must give "...30 days written notification prior to automatic renewal date." Who remembers their renewal date? This is also true if you are leaving the area. When talking with customer service they ask you to sell your current agreement to another friend (who you must hate to get them involved in this racket), pay a $200 early cancellation fee, or wait until your agreement ends.
