Wow, all this OS is is HYPE, everything that XP has is in Windows 2000. Why do people say that XP is more compatible than 2000? Not at all: I have never had problems running any software in Windows 2000. Maybe because some people are so used to Windows ME (the worst version of Windows ever) that XP is an improvement, but not to me. Maybe it is my hardware setup:

ASUS A7V133 + Athlon 1200
640MB SDRAM
60 GIG HDD
Radeon VE Graphics
Aureal Vortex Sound
HP NIC w/ Intel chipset

But it works in Windows 2000 without a flaw, yet in Windows XP I cannot even play an MP3 file or get past the loading screen in a game because the computer locks up, and I cannot launch Morpheus because I get an error reporting screen and it quits. And then there is networking, it took me 2 weeks to figure out how to be able to share the entire program files folder, because the default settings dont let you, but you might ask: "Isnt this a good security feature?" NO. Windows XP is so unsecure. Have you heard about Universal Plug-and-Play? Well to summarize it: a network technology that lets people hack your computer and that the FBI recomends you disable.
