I was a loyal customer of Footsmart but will never buy from them again. I ordered several pairs of shoes. One pair was too small for me. I tried them for 2 (two!) minutes on my clean rug, then packed the shoes and mail them back. Footsmart sent the shoes back to me. There was no explanation but a photograph of the bottom of the shoes: one of them has some marks. When I called, they said the shoes were returned because they were no longer in unworn condition. Only one shoe has marks on the sole and the are clearly NOT the marks that walking with them would cause: they are marks that, given the delicate leather of the sole of these shoes, are easy made by whomever handled the shoes before me (it is very significant that only one shoes has these marks); they look like marks made by shoe polish or varnish or something; or they might be some scratches. Surely I did not produce them. Surely they are not the sorts of marks that wearing the shoes would create. Most likely, they were already there when I received the shoes and did not notice; had I noticed, they would have meant nothing to me: had the size been the right one, I would have gladly kept them; the sole will become dirty anyway after you wear your shoes on the street for 5 minutes. Whoever looked at these shoes and determined they had been worn either knows nothing of shoes or looked at some unclear photo on his or her computer screen. In any event, I returned BRAND NEW shoes and Footsmart claims they are instead used, worn. It is a big scam. And as a customer you are totally powerless. After having spent good money with them for a few years, I was not expecting this sort of shady behavior.
Very unsatisfied
