Like the ancient god Rumor, the mental infestation that is Netflix has spread throughout the world, dropping its hints and allegations, whispers and a crapload of banner ads. Then, like a giant cartoon snowball, the user base of this system grew to...

Thanks for such an entertaining Epinion! I've just subscribed to NetFlix and am waiting for my first big 'fix.' Think I am already addicted, as I have rated over 100 movies previously watched in hopes of some stellar, obscure recommendations...thanks again!

...At BlueHawq's nest. I came over to read your most recent review to see if I concur with what appears to be the general consensus. I do.

Kudos to you for your interesting, informative review. May it set a favorable example for those who read it and enjoyed it as much as I did.

Best Regards--

I think you may be on to something... I used to time my watchings so that I always had one when I first started, but then I got busy and that didn't work out, and I would often end up sending back all three at the same time... but oh well, I'll try to add that one up there rather soon :-)

thanks for the comment!!

service. As someone that does not have a lot of time to be browsing the shelves at Blockbuster, I simply adore this service. I haven't yet had a problem with them or any of the DVD's that I have received. I have also found that my wait time is about 3 days before I receive a DVD that has been shipped. And I get confirmation of shipment within one day. Maybe I'm just luckier than you. :-) Not to bad, I have learned to time the mailings so that I always have one at my home while one is being shipped and the other being mailed back. Is this a thing to add to your addiction list?

Great review on a wonderful site.

Netflix location... (Reply to this comment)
by Tibullus
When I got home, I checked my mailers and found that Netflix was located in San Jose, CA... so the more central you are to that location, the better off you are (I wonder if you can just bring a DVD in and exchange it?)

I don't know the exact location, but i'm pretty sure its located somewhere in California... so for those on the West Coast, this would be even better

In that case I would recommend (with the newfound epiphany from Tom) Netflix even higher than for most people... great way to get some fresh movies moving through the DVD player :-)

thanks for the comment!!

Well, I can't really argue with the waiting around part. But there really isn't all that much work... you admitedly have to look at a website and put together your queue, but that's it... the rest is just sitting back, watching movies and using the US Postal service... you bring up a great point though about rural areas, I hadn't really thought of that before :-)

Thanks for the comment...

a lot of waiting around. And a lot of extra work. I couldn't do it.

Might be a good service for rural areas.

Very informative review.
