My daughter has been wanting a kayak for the longest time. She's been saving up some and just had her birthday so we went to get it. Her Grandma from out of state wanted to help out so she bought a $100 gift card online to go towards it. Turns out you can't use the online gift card in the stores. You also can't return the online gift card. I attempted to buy the kayak online to see if I could do in store pickup but that was not an option either. They wanted $170 more to ship it. The manager in Platsburgh NY would not make an exception. I ended up giving the extra money to my daughter to pay for it, an we let her grandma know that it went towards the kayak. Now I am stuck with $100 gift card and no desire to ever go back. I can't believe how inconsiderate the company is. It really makes no sese to me. So much for the customer is always right. It's the 21st century, they should offer in store pickup, allow gift cards bought online to be used in stores, and most importantly have a heart and care about their community. This is one customer lost for life.
