Great range!

I've had the range for about 3 months. Overall it's great. The burners are wonderful, even operating on propane (many other ranges seem to reduce the BTU output a lot when running on propane). We used to have a viking in a previous house. I'd rate this as almost as good, and given the convenience of sealed burners, it's hard to complain. The broiler is very good, although I still wish it was more powerful. The over is fast to heat up, but I wish it were more even. Pie crusts end up getting brown always on the same side first. The electric dacor we had in a previous house seemed more even.
Some things to consider: the grates end up being about an inch higher than almost all other ranges. If you're small, that inch can make a substantial difference when stirring in large pots. Also, the touchpad is very deep, so the pots are further away than on other ranges. And speaking of touchpad, I still have a hard time getting used to it. It's just too easy to hit the wrong button in the wrong moment. But apart from that, the functionality is very well designed.
A note if you need to convert the range to propane: it's a @#$% pain! In particular the broiler burner doesn't look at all like the manual says, and you have to have a small 8mm (or was it a 7mm?) wrench or you can't get at it. No adjustable wrench will fit.
