Order still not "proccessed" terrible customer service

Please do not waste your TIME ordering stuff from Altrec.com. Where is customer service? I wonder how many people actually work there? I'm really disappointed.
I ordered some discontinued Keen sandals for a total bargain, ($25.00 off retail price, who would pass that up)? A couple days later, and my order still wasn't processed. I sent 2 e-mails asking why my order wasn't processed yet and I got a reply of "everything was backed up", but I still haven't heard back from the second e-mail. That would have been a tad bit useful when I ordered the shoes.
Also, I'm wondering if they are in another country because I sent the first e -mail late at night around 10:00 pm and someone got right back to me. The second was sent around 9:00 am - 10:00 am.
Had I known this when I ordered, I wouldn't have ordered the shoes. We're heading out to the mountains next week and hopefully I have hiking shoes because my old ones are totally worn out.
My friend told me to just go buy them in the store, but that's not the point! I want my bargain shoes!
The customer service is terrible, I don't know how much longer I should wait before deciding to cancel my order. At least they haven't charged me yet.
