The Bottom Line Thanks to all of the talented writers who posted some great entries in my write-off! It has been a lot of fun, and I hope to do it again.
It's hard to believe that I have been writing on this site for over 12 years now. Many of the members I started out writing with have thousands of reviews written in this amount of time. Even some of the newer members are quickly reaching high numbers of reviews written. As for me, this is my 500th review here on Epinions. I wanted to do something special to commemorate my 500th review, so I decided to host a write-off to celebrate my latest milestone. After a considerable amount of thought, I have decided that the write-off should be dedicated to protecting our planet. There are many products that can be included in this write-off. You can write about products made of recyclable materials, recyclable products, organic foods, books or movies about recycling, energy efficient appliances, energy saving devices, writer's corner pieces concerning environmental issues, or anything else that comes to mind, as long as it fits into the general theme of the write-off. Now I know that many products are made of varying degrees of recyclable materials, and I'm not going to insist that everything be made of completely recycled materials, but please try to at least be reasonable about it. I will leave the exact amounts up to your disgression, but please try to stick with the intent of the write-off. The write-off will start immediately and continue through Earth Day, which is observed on April 22 every year by over 500 million people and several national governments in 175 countries, so please get your entries in and start recycling. With that said, I would appreciate a link to the Recyclable Write-Off included in your review, and a comment left in the comment section here so that I can add a list of write-off entries at the bottom.
