Amazon, oh Amazon.... how I love thee!!! Let me count the ways....
1. They have everything and I mean EVERYTHING. You can buy your groceries there but you can also buy toys, lawn care, jewelry, clothing, electronics, etc.
2. It's rare to find another store that beats their price for the same product. We buy everything on amazon. Even my daughter tells me "Let's amazon it!"
3. Prime membership is AWESOME. For 80 bucks a year you get free shipping on anything amazon carries in their warehouses. It's usually two day shipping as well! Normally you have to pay up the wazoo for two day shipping! And there's no weight limit to the prime shipping. They also have thousands of free instant video a la netflix for prime members.
4. Books? What are books? Once you try a kindle you'll have difficulty going back to holding an actual book. Not only are they lighter then a book but you can hold up to 3,500 books on the kindle. Best part is most of the books are cheaper then the paperback or hardcovers. No more travelling with ten paperbacks anymore....
5. Their customer service is the best I've ever dealt with. I had been having an issue with a kindle cover and they told me to take it off and see if the kindle works better and that they would call me in five days to hear the outcome. They said if it was the kindle, that they'd send me a new one, no charge. If it was the cover that was giving it problems they would send a replacement. They called five days later at the time they said they would and proceeded to send me a new kindle cover.
6. Trust the reviews on there. I've listened to the reviews every time I've bought products and have been very happy with everything I've gotten from there.
7. The return policy is very good. They even offer to pay the shipping for you.
If amazon had a store, I would stop going to the grocery store, Target and the mall and just go there. They have me as a customer for life!
