This is all from what i've heard. I have used XP Pro, but did not keep it. 3D wise, with XP drivers yes, games run smoother faster than 9x, me etc, mainly at higher detail. Looks so good, you don't realy want to get off. Any backround you use, for some reason looks more, umm... softer maybe? smother more 3D like, ...something about how it's displayed looks alot!! nicer than 98se or whatever. Lots of more color with XP!!

I realy like it, yet i did not keep it, being that i hear and i think microsoft says this. They take snapshots of your PC when you log on the net, once install there is no way to get rid of it, you either register or you'll have to format the drive you put it on. well i heard if you isnstall and don't register within the time, your computer will become un-usable, even if you have win9x istalled on another drive. NoTE this all of what i've heard, so i just formated my drive, thinking i won't be able to use my computer or no use win98SE that i had also installed.

I had XP Pro on a dual boot setup, so i could use win98SE still if i wanted too.

XP in the time i did used or play with it, it seems as if i won't look up at all, no more blue screens of death NONE. has such a strong feel, and faster smoother feel. And see i'm not sure whats the truth about XP and Microsoft. Are you realy being watched hehe..

i like mainly cuz of it's look and how it ran my 3D games... Even though one flaw, i noticed problem with my SB live 5.1 ...i was going to get the latest XP drivers for it, but never got the chance too. Yte with the drivers XP came with for the Live 5.1 the sounds were not too good at all, at random times playing UNreal tournament.

So i'm not saying don't get XP. it's just i don't know whats up with it. Maybe the guy who told me this (my friend) ...just hates it, so in that case tells me all of this so i won't use it. I mean if XP dose look at what your doing with your PC ...that dose not seem right, but hey i guess they want to make sure you have a real XP version or something...
