Poor customer service, does not follow through on delivery dates

I ordered a stacked washer/dryer from Sears on line because the website had a delivery date available of that Saturday. It took 2 days to get an email confirmation from the order and they finally called on Friday night to let me know they would be delivering the washer/dryer on Saturday. Saturday morning, just ahead of the time window for delivery, I received a call from the delivery man. They would not be delivering the washer/dryer that day because there was not one available. I was disappointed and wrote Sears to say so. I received a reply from them the next day saying it wasn't their fault the delivery man was not available. I wrote back telling them the delivery man was available, the appliance was not available. The next email I received from they was one telling me my order was cancelled. I did not request they cancel the order. Two days after the order was cancelled, my credit card was billed for $1400+. I called Sears about it. They said that they could not remove the charge for 7 to 10 days. Needless to say, I am very, very unhappy with Sears at this point! I will have to schlep clothes to the laudromat until my card charges are cleared and I can order another washer/dryer. Never again will I shop at Sears. Their customer service is the worst I've ever experienced!!! Save yourself the hassle. Shop elsewhere!
