Pros:11 Mbps speeds
Cons:none yet
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a wireless card for a laptop then this is one to get.
I recently got DSL service by Bellsouth and before my DSL came I needed to finish building my Home Network. After doing a ton of research I finally decided to go with the Linksys wireless network. I have to say that I'm very happy with my Linksys network and the WPC11 wireless network card. When I move around the house with my Sony laptop my speed are between 2mbps to 11mbps depending on how far or how close I'm to the linksys wireless router. When I'm at speeds of 2mbps it doesn't bother me as my wireless network cards speed is faster then my DSL speed of 1.5mbps. Installing the WPC11 wireless card was fairly simple. I put the card into the open PCMCIA slot in my Sony laptop and inserted the CDROM Disc and with in 2-5 minutes the card was installed. I haven't come across any problems with my Linksys WPC11 wireless card yet and even if I do knowing that Linksys Tech Support is open 7 days a week 24 hours a day is a good feeling should any problems in the future occur with my Linksys WPC11 Wireless card.
