Modell's Online is convenient, has good prices, and is easy to use. The web site is very well designed and allows the consumer to easily find what they are looking for. There are numerous different types of sporting goods available, even more than in the traditional bricks and mortar stores that they have. I have never come across an experience where an item from the online store was out of stock in my experiences using the site. Every time I have done a search I have never come across an item listing as out of stock.
Modell's has the MVP club too. This is a program where shoppers are rewarded with points for purchases. These points can accumulate into gift certificates and they go on a graduated scale. Therefore, the more you spend, the better the gift certificates.
Whatever sport you play, Modell's has the equipment for it. From croquet to baseball, they really do have it all. Sports apparel from all the leading manufacturers is also available for the athlete or even the non-athlete!
Price Range
Prices at Modell's are below the industry average for sporting goods. I find the prices for the most part to be about five to ten percent less than other mass merchandise retailers who sell the same goods.
I have never come across a problem with a delivery from Modell's. They are extremely efficient in their services. I have never used the direct customer service contact feature so I am unable to comment on that. However, Modell's answers many questions that buyers may have right there on the web site, which is great.
Good Stuff
Overall, Modell's is the place to go for sporting goods. As their commercials on television say " Gotta Go to Mo's!". I know I do.
