The Bottom Line: This is the finest ski Black Diamond has ever made, as well as the best Tele-specific ski I have ever skied.

I was a bit afraid to strap on this ski, since I had some bad experiences with previous BD skis. After the first run I was not so sure they would be that great, I felt like I was all over the place (both arms and feet), but I soon realized that these skis need less skier input then I was used to. So on my second run I let them do the work. Nice short swinging turns followed by big lazy Cadillac arcs. After figuring out where to push them (which is barely anything) you can make this skis perform like an STS or move over to some powder, crud, or bumps and drive them like an Escalade. They mash through bumps, thanks to a nice soft flexing tip and a big stiff tail. These are comfortable at just about any speed (thanks to a very damp wood core), on any terrain, in any snow except the gnarliest bulletproof. So after about seven runs, the demo guy chased me to the chair to get them back. He made off with my Visa card, and I made more runs. Bottomline, these are my everyday, everywhere skis, leaving my K2s to collect dust.
