Order not properly fulfilled. Never contacted of changes before shipment. Will not use retailer again.

The most absurd online ordering experience.
I ordered 2 bottles of the same maker's pinot (different vintages). Received email confirmation of the order right away. A few days later, I received a shipment confirmation email - it only listed 1 bottle. I called Wine Chateau to clarify. The customer service rep was very nice, but basically told me she was not sure why only 1 bottle was sent but it was probably because this was the only vintage in stock. WHY WOULD THE RETAILER ALLOW CUSTOMERS TO ORDER SPECIFIC BOTTLES THEY DO NOT ACTUALLY HAVE IN STOCK?? When I bottle arrived the invoice said 2011 vintage but I received a 2009 bottle... Poor service! I will not order from them again, nor will I recommend them.
