I ordered a book through valorebooks, in which I paid for expedited shipping. The book did not arrive on time, and i was worried that it would not arrive at all. I emailed customer service right after the last day that the book should have arrived to show how agitated i was.
They emailed me back immeadiately:
"Thank you for your patience while we researched this issue. I sincerely apologize that you never received your item. I encourage you to leave the seller feedback. However; in the meantime I am writing to inform you that you have been issued a full refund today by Valore. Please allow 2-5 business days for the refund to process, and appear back on the credit/debit card or PayPal account you purchased the order with.
I would like to see that you get your book and would like to offer you a 5% discount ($$$$$$) off of your next order. During the checkout process you will find a blue hyperlink on the page after you enter your credit card information. The link states “Enter Promo Code Here” once you click on it you will see a window open, please enter code, click update, and you will see the total balance adjust on the right hand side. Again I sincerely apologize for any troubles you've experienced with this order.
As one can see the email was very well written, sincere, and apologetic. In all seriousness, by far the nicest email/gesture i have ever received from any customer service.
So all in all, I would highly reccomend valore books. Part of running a business is admitting to your mistakes. Valore is clearly willing to do this
