DVD Empire claims to have shipped me two DVDs on January 18. On February 5, I inquired as to the status of the order, only to be told that I had "chosen" USPS Media Mail, and for that reason they could not consider the package lost until 5 weeks had passed! Now that 5 weeks have passed, I asked for a refund. They replied that, not only do they not give refunds on USPS orders, they do not normally even REPLACE them! They went on to say that they would make an exception and send a replacement order if I paid the postage! I find this totally outrageous. If DVD Empire has so many problems with the USPS that they have to institute such a drastic policy, they should not use them at all.
