Apologetic but Unresponsive and Unhelpful Customer Service

Ordered a bag from LuggagePoint.com and after a week, I still hadn't received any indication that my order had shipped. So I called to look into it and someone said they needed to research it and would call back in a day or two. Called back a few days later and then this person said that the bag was out of stock and it had to be ordered from the manufacturer. I questioned why I hadn't received any indication that the bag was on backorder but was told that they didn't bother if it was only going to be delayed a few days (or, apparently, 1.5 weeks in my case). I called again when it had been 15 days since I had placed my order. Customer Service rep said it was still showing up in the system with a status of PROCESSING and she needed to research this and would call back in a day or two. I mentioned I had heard that before. She apologized and said I should've been called back before. Next day, I received a cryptic email from luggagepoint.com saying "Credit Memo # 100000973 for Order # 100206046" but the email just showed my order again. Meanwhile, Paypal showed that I had received a full refund. This isn't looking good. I called up LuggagePoint again and after putting me on hold for almost 15 minutes, she came back saying that 1) It was out of stock and their vendor wasn't responding to them and 2) Customer Service claims that they sent an email saying it was on backorder and maybe it got sent to my spam folder. I replied that I had searched my spam folder and there was nothing from them. She again apologized and offered to notify me when the item came back into stock. Ugh. I bought from them because they had a 20% coupon but it's not worth it! Stay away from this company!
