I like your idea of using Hotwire as a benchmark and then offering 70% of that. I too used to fall for the "not a good chance" comment and didn't book because of the higher suggested low bid. I agree, what's it cost to offer a low ball figure?

I'm sure people will find those tips you gave very helpful,but you haven't given us enough information about the actual website. What types of payment do they accept? Can you cancel your reservations and still get a refund days later?
