Slow delivery, poor customer service. I ordered 16 place settings of the Alpico Tradition dinnerware. The items were not indicated as being on backorder. Two weeks later, I received an email explaining that they were on back order and that I could cancel my order. I chose not to cancel as I thought that it would not be much longer. Another week and a half after that I received everything, but in the mean time the items went on a 20% off sale. Customer service would not refund a difference, which I felt was poor quality service, as I was willing to pay for them initially, but that was assuming I wouldn't have to wait three weeks to get the items. I would have waited for them to go on sale if I had not wanted them within the initial week. All I got was excuses about the economy and how they weren't expecting the demand blah, blah, blah. I will never buy from Williams and Sonoma again. I do a lot of online shopping from higher end retailers and have never been treated like this.
