Pros:This camera takes clear, focused pictures and is very easy to use.

Cons:shortest battery life in a camera even when using high reserve

The Bottom Line: The amount of effort needed to take pictures with this camera is not worth it when there are other cameras out there with a similar price tag that perform better.

Overall I do not think that this camera is all that it was cracked up to be. At the time, the price was good, but I guess this is one of those moments where you get what you pay for. Yes, it may take nice pictures, but the fact that you have to keep changing the batteries will put a damper on wanting to continue taking shots. Even Canon representatives have acknowledged this camera's many complaints about battery life. They tend to think it is a circuitry issue. It is something that people can go get fixed supposedly, but either way you look at it, you will be putting extra money into this camera for either repairs or batteries.
This camera is for people who have plenty of batteries lying around and are willing to have them on hand when using this camera. This piece of equipment is a big time battery eater and will require many changes if you plan to be using it for a long period of time. I would high recommend not using this camera for any special occasions such as a birthday or wedding because you are most likely going to miss great picture opportunities due to its constant battery care.
