We bought ours 2.5 years ago and it  has broken down five times.    It is a piece of junk, save your money.  The so called "customer care" is a joke.  Truly does costs more to fix than to purchase.  Lesson learned as well, will NEVER purchase another product from Fisher and Paykel!  I also find it very difficult to get this machine serviced as there are so few reapirmen who do it.  Funny though, they all say the same when I tell them what I am calling for.  "Why did you get that , they are crap"  and I am not kidding.   My only thought was why did someone not tell me this sooner?!  Be warned......stay away from Fisher and Paykel.
