Pros:Loud, good compatability, easy to use
Cons:Long instruction book (too many languages), low quality components
The Bottom Line: This system gives 'wows' and impresses until you buy it and it craps out on you. Definitely not recommended.

[As an opening note, this is my pioneer Epinion back on the Epinions plain, I haven't scribed here for a few months and I hope I'm as welcome and liked now as I was before. Enjoy!]

So I get home from the electronics store (my local Audio Experts) with the Pioneer CDJ-100S "Professional CD Player". Though I don't have a station or anything or a business, I do like to fancy myself the amateur d.j. (disc jockey in layman's terms) So I set up the system, scan through the manual, and head off to fetch my killer collection of store-bought, internet-gathered, and gift-gotten discs to put them through their paces on a 'real' machine. I picked out one of the newer discs--one I'm positive had no scratches, dirt to speak of--and insert it into the front loading get up Pioneer put on the CDJ-100S, but not on the lower CDJ-75B, nor the CD-66A. Everythings looking good, the lights are flashing and the music starts coming on..I crank up the bass...yeah, sweet. So here I am jamming to the good stuff when all of a sudden I heard a soft bumping sound emitting from my wonderful new speakers, the noise continued and got louder and louder until I heard a loud buzz and a cracking noise. At this time I shut off the system and haven't touched it since. Called up the store and they don't know the problem. So then I called up Pioneer and they kept me on hold for 17 minutes and then told me that they don't know what to do. It's really frustrating. I'm never going back to Pioneer, or Audio Experts, for my dj-ing equipment.
