Amerisave was great, they responded amazingly fast and answered all of our questions in a friendly manner. Every time we contacted our mortgage processors with questions, these questions were answered thoroughly giving us a peace of mind moving forward. Since we don't have a fax machine I especially enjoyed the convenience of being able to scan documents and email them back. There was also the way you could electronically sign documents online, a great way to save paper. A few needed a 'wet' signature but my husband was able to take them to work. There was a lot of documents required but that is true with any refinance. We tried to refinance though our current lender Citimortgage but I felt like the processor we talked to was rude to me and I didn’t want to talk to him again. He was great with my husband who started the process, and then I had some questions on points and why Amerisave had a lower rate. In all fairness, I did have kids fighting in the background which made it even harder but he was very short with me and I didn’t want to talk to him again. Jeff at Amerisave never made me feel that way. A refinance (to me) is scary and nerve wracking and a friendly voice is very helpful.
