The GPS V is the newest model in the series of Garmin GPS systems. I have both the GPS II plus and now the GPS V. The V is incredible because it has on screen mapping with streets labeled and arrows that give you direction from waypoint to waypoint. It is very easy to use and to follow.

The screen has enlarged numbers and letters from the older versions so that it is easier to see. There is a back light on it to allow you to use it at night. When you buy it, it comes with a car adapter and a computer hook up so that you can download maps off the internet.

Overall I give it 5 stars out of 5. The only problem you may run into is if you use it a lot, the batteries will eat you alive.
