Great for working out
Good battery life
Can store plenty of songs
Cons:Small (easy to lose)
The Bottom Line: If you want a simple mp3 player to play music & workout with, this is for you!
Compared to the familiar previous generations of the ipod nano, the 6th generation may seem like a step back, but for many it is an excellent convenience. But first i will warn you IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR NEW FEATURES & APPs GET THE IPOD TOUCH. This ipod is a chic and simple mp3 player with a handy fitness program. Personally i don't mind the loss of the camera & video, but the loss of games was a bit of a disappointment. You'd think with Apple's progress over the years, simple versions of "brick Breaker" & "solitare" would not be hard to fit on a 1.5" screen. The touch itself it convenient but takes a bit to get used to. Being a former owner of the Ipod Nano 3rd gen., it was a bit of an adjustment.

The one unique app that sets this generation away from the previous is its workout program. Along with its size, that's what makes this ipod an athlete's best friend. It tracks how many miles you run and calculates things such as calories burned & pace.
Its size is very convenient, but also very easy to lose track of. If buying this product, make sure you are sure you know how to take care of it. All in all i'd say this is Apple's way of returning to a more simplistic mp3 player. I can hold 8 GB(2,000 songs) or 16 GB(4,000 songs)of music and has a rather strong battery that can last up to 24 hours of nonstop use. Overall if you are looking for a music player & only a music player, this ipod is for you. But if you want applications, videos & a camera, go buy an ipod touch.
