Having never applied for a home loan before, I felt uneasy when I started the pre-approval process. But after my first call from my Quicken Loans mortgage banker, I immediately felt reassured and confident that I would be able to own a home. My dream came true last week when I closed on my first property.
Throughout my home search and once I made my first offer, I had plenty of questions. Quicken Loans was always there with helpful and knowledgeable answers.
I like how tech-savy they are and the fact that they are paperless. E-signing documents was one my favorite features.
Their website was also a great time saver and I made much use of it. It was easy to login and see what I needed to do next to move along with my loan. Everything is nicely laid out and uploads are quick and painless.
My loan type is 5/1 ARM FHA. Quicken Loans did a good job letting me know of the type of loans available and then recommended my type to fit my situation.
Overall, I had a great experience. The only frustrating thing I ran into was when I would return calls, I almost always got an answering machine. However, all of their team members are quick to return the call and address voicemails immediately.
I will definitely use Quicken Loans again. I am also sort of a Quicken Loans evangelist now, and frequently tell others about my experience.
