Up until a month ago, I (an Epinions Beauty Top Reviewer and Editor, remember) was an innocent beauty counter "virgin" who truly had no experience with such frivolous girly type things. Then suddenly without warning, one day I was ruthlessly corrupted by three so-called online friends who introduced me to the Origins section of a nearby Proffitt's department store. I was immediately impressed with the knowledgeable sales clerk as well as by all of the fine Origins skin care products we found that day. And with that first purchasing experience (I bought a 3.4 oz tube of Clear Improvement active charcoal mask to clear pores for $18.50 and a .64 oz bottle of Zero Oil instant matte finish for shiny places for $10.00), I've been hooked ever since. So it was just a matter of time before I later discovered the Origins Natural Resources Online Store. Thanks to chrisceb, shantel575, and KMINER, this online merchant now has a brand new loyal customer. These sly Epinionators should ALL be ashamed of themselves for being so evil, but I have a feeling they are gloating with pride and are resharpening their claws after having found another unsuspecting victim to add to their long list of Origins converts. All I can say now is that when my next credit card statement arrives, my dear Epinions Beauty friends will have a LOT of explaining to do to my husband as I am placing total blame for my new obsession on their shoulders. Because my skin remains very oily despite the fact that I am well into my thirties now, my online shopping priorities focused mainly on those Origins skin care products that are designed primarily for oily skin types. The first item added to my shopping bag was a 3.4 oz tube of Swept Clean facial scrub designed to provide special sloughing for oily-acting skin priced at $17.50. A 1.7 oz bottle of Matte Scientist oil controlling lotion for $18.50 was next. Gently formulated to cleanse combination skin, I next chose a 5 oz tube of Checks and Balances frothy face wash for $16.50. To provide moisture care for the delicate skin around my eyes, I then splurged on a small .5 oz container of Eye Doctor that sells for $25. And finally, (I place all the blame on shantel575 here), I picked up a 7 oz portion of the Ginger Souffle whipped body cream for $25 as my final treat. The grand total was $102.50 for five items. All of this stuff had BETTER be good! And as an added bonus, a small sample size of the new A Perfect World white tea skin guardian was added to my order free of charge. Because this was my first online purchase, I qualified for free shipping, and since I do not live in Ohio or New York, I was not charged any sales tax on my order as well. But since I did my shopping on a Friday evening, my order was not processed until the following Monday and it was the next Friday before my merchandise was delivered to my door via UPS Ground. Everything arrived perfectly packaged and as ordered with no hidden charges or surprises. My first purchase at the Origins Natural Resources Online Store was most definitely a success!
