Pros:Energy saving, inexpensive and easy to use. Low detergent costs and water usage.

Cons:
No option for washing only stainless steel utensils.

The Bottom Line:

It is a good product as it is relatively inexpensive ,practical and sturdy in operation. Even though  it lacks a very stately look yet it performs well through it's functions.

Whirlpool DU1055XTVS built in Dishwasher:

It is one of the inexpensive dishwasher's coming from Whirlpool which has a great track record in home accessories. It thoroughly washes and sanitizes the dishes and dries them as well. It is almost noiseless but it did appear as a little on the bulkier side when I first saw it. One of it's USP's is the soil sensor and it's five levels of wash. It has a silverware holder placed in the door which gives me additional stacking space for my dishes and utensils.

The Whirlpool DU1055XTVS is a basic dishwasher that is available in silver, white, black, bisque and stainless steel.

The reviews about this product(now discontinued) is very encouraging. However there have been certain complaints of early breakdowns and delicate parts.

It has a conventional two (upper and lower ) racks design that help stack a good load . It has a delayed start option and various settings to suit your requirement. It has a soak and scour option that helps to remove food particles that may have been caked on if left to dry. It soaks, cleans and resoaks the dishes and vessals which leave them very clean and stainfree.

It has an option of automatic overnight washing which helps use the energy saving off-peak hours with lower rates. It washes at par with any of the newer and more expensive models.Overall a good product for the budget wary consumers.
