You did a great job of thoroughly discussing Travelocity's site. I use them almost exclusively now and wasn't even aware of the Preferred Member feature. You briefly mention HOTWIRE and I'd have to say, I simply do not trust that site - their practices seem sneaky and questionable even if they are not.
Really outstanding submission on what I consider to be the best travel website available.

I've been using online travel services for quite a while, and Travelocity is unquestionably the best out there (I like Expedia's interface a little better, but Travelocity usually gives me better fares.)
