Pros: Protects my tender lips from sun and wind damage.
Cons: Limited colors, don't really care for the mint flavoring.
The Bottom Line: If you have an active, outdoors-y lifestyle, you might want to give this stuff a try.

Well, maybe not THE best biker lipstick, but so far it is the best I've been able to find.
Chapped, cracked lips have been a bit of a problem for me most of my active, outdoors-y life. I've tried a variety of products, from Chapstick (tm) to petrolium jelly. Each had some drawbacks. So, I have been on a search for the perfect lipstick for years. Once I started riding a motorcycle, I escalated the search because between the wind blast (even with a helmet) and the sun, my lips take a real beating when riding.
I recently came across "Jane" brand makeup. It is the best lip-care product I have found so far.
Jane is targeted at the youngsters, and I'm not at all interested in most of their products - a bit too teenie-bopper for my taste - but their WeatherWear lipstick if GREAT!
WeatherWear lipstick is an SPF 15 lip conditioner with vitamins C and E. The active ingredients are octyl methoxycinnamate and allantoin. It's also got Shea butter, lanolin oil, bee's wax, elder flower, aloe, nettle, juniper, and peppermint extracts.
It's a little bit sweet and minty, which I couldn't care less about, but the kids dig it.
It comes in a variety of colors, pearlized and creme in assorted reds and pinks. My favorite color is "Next to Nothing," which is the same color as my lips, though today I bought "Campfire Grrrl" which is a lot more sheer on the lip than it would seem by looking at the tube.
I've been very pleased with the product, it does not cake, stain, or bleed. It protects my lips on the brightest days - I have not had sunburnt lips since I started using it. It always feels smooth and creamy, and it does not rub off too badly.
