I purchased (tried to) a coolpix 885 from Computers4sure.com. It had been out of stock for a week at almost every online store so when it came back into stock at this store, I quickly got online to buy it. I entered my information into the online forms to buy it and noticed that there was a note that if you are shipping to an alternative shipping address, it must be added to your cc. I called mastercard and promptly added the new address, then proceeded with my purchase.
Four hours later I received an email from computers4sure.com with instructions for adding a secondary mailing address. I called mastercard back and they checked, the address had been added to my account immediately after my morning call. I emailed Computers4sure back and told them that they had made a mistake, to try again.
About 4 hours later, I received yet another email saying my order had been processed... but when I looked online, the order was now backordered because of their little screwup that morning.
I called computers4sure and the first guy I talked to (after 20 minutes of hold) asked me... so, what do you want me to do about it. Not very customer service oriented. I asked for a supervisor and after another 20 minutes of hold was disconnected. I called back, after another 20 minutes of hold, got a customer service agent who then transfered me to a supervisor within five minutes. She was nice but not helpful and offered no explanations as to what happened.
In my final conclusion, I will not use computers4sure again in the future. They were not helpful when they screwed up nor did they offer any solutions. They gave me no reason to want to shop with them in the future.... avoid them!
