As the previous reviewer said - you are better off booking directly through the hotel. PRICELINE HAS GONE DOWNHILL. We booked through Priceline and then found a bad review about the hotel on the internet within minutes of booking. We called the hotel the same day only to find out from a hotel employee, who seemed to be running both the front desk and cleaning rooms, that the hotel, in fact, did have problems with bed bugs and peeling wallpaper (as the reviewer had stated). We then attempted, several times, to contact Priceline to cancel our reservation due to this issue (also three days in advance of our intended hotel stay) and were just passed along within their phone prompting system with no choice to either talk to someone directly, to cancel or to voice a complaint. I also contacted the hotel (again) to say we would not be staying there because of the bed bugs and peeling wallpaper - the hotel said there was no way to cancel the reservation since it had been made through Priceline (even 3 days in advance). I contacted Wells Fargo to dispute the charge and they said their hands were tied - they would not dispute Priceline. Shame on you Priceline - steeling money from people - and shame on you Wells Fargo for allowing Priceline to do this. NEVER NEVER AGAIN Priceline.
