Ease of Ordering:
I have been using square trade for 3 years. I have asked questions and put in one claim among most of my good electronics. I expected a rash of insurance type hoops to jump through when I did put in a claim. Total opposite. If you are up front with them and comply with their easy directions: Bingo, you are whole again. They are fair, organized, clear, and so far consistent. The service is on the level of Garmin products and REI. I had a camera which would not focus. I had tried a few things but to me these efforts were within reason. If they were out to take us this would have been the end and I couldn't argue. This is not their business model. They hope you use your product long and happily; but are not going to act Mickey Mouse for upfront customers. Awesome. The process is simple. You find your sales reciept, you tell them exactly waht happened and they come up with a plan from there. You send the product back with an easily printed label. The communication is unbelievable. They talk to you every step of the way. And get this. They are constantly giving you their phone number in case you have questions. They do not hide it. Do you believe that? Try and find a friendly microsoft phone number!!?! Call Call call, we want you to is the message from Square Trade. A real human is waiting. Wave of the future. Use them. None other.
