I think that the Chedi really deserves to have some good words spoken of it. Yes it does stretch out over many steps and walkways, so not good for the elderly or infirm, but what a great place otherwise. Lovely beach, even if the beach seller were a little keen at times, but lovely white sand beautiful water.
Be careful about going during monsoon, when the beach turns to washed up debris and waves crash higher than you can imagine.
The food was delightful, typically Thai, but you can experience worldwide tastes at the black poolside bar and sea side fish restaurant.
Well worth a return trip I'd say !
