Buy.com experience
I am not sure why there are negative comments for Buy.com. I have been long time customer and have always been very satisfied. This time I was placing an order for expensive equipment so was little nervous after reading comments, but based on my personal experience I took a chance. Wanted to share the overall experience.
Latest experience - Placed order for Samsung UN60D8000 @ $2599 (cheapest price on the day anywhere online) on Thursday evening. Received immediate email notification on confirming the order. Friday - credit card charged and shipment made. Prompt notification received via email. Saturday TV was at the local sort facility in Atlanta. I scheduled delivery for the TV. Delivery was on time that I requested, delivered in the house, on first floor and placed where I wanted. The delivery person was extremely courteous.
Though I paid for normal shipment, overall the experience seemed that I had paid for expedited shipment. From order date to delivery in the house was within 4 days, including saturday and sunday.
Just loved the shopping for a high end item at Buy.com. Will continue shopping with them.
I am yet to open the box and check the product - so far - EXCELLENT
