I recently built an Ar-15 Platform rifle, to finish it off I wanted a standard scope that would have some similarities to the ACOG's the military use but the comfort of familiarity, and range of my hunting rifles. I chose the Trijicon Accupoint 2.5-10x56. This is a fantastic scope! The bindon aming concept allows both eyes open targeting and a better field of view while incorporating the mil-dot reticle that I prefer. Trijicon products are among the best and cost a hard earned paycheck! They are absolutely worth every penny! Without anything more than a cursory eyeball bore sight I zeroed on my 3rd shot. I also chose the Trijicon Accupoint 30mm qr flattop single mount to keep my flip up sights on the rifle and available as needed or wanted. this is a fantastic mount and is nothing but quality manufacturing. I've removed the optics 5 times afer sighting in, it always returns to dead zero every time. I've put about 1000 round down range and its always a joy to have the accuracy that every person shooting strives for. I've had a full rebuild of my dominant / sighting eye socket, and have a permanant vision imparment that has given me trouble with seeing down my iron sights, for this reason I use optics on 90% of my weapons. The trijicon products, I have several, allow my vision to no longer be an issue. THANK YOU! As everyone I take pride in my shooting abilities, I can solidly recomend Trijicon to everyone, novice to sharpshooter! Keep it Trijicon!
P.S. I did use a 1/2 inch riser to alow clearance over my flip up sights as this scope has a 56 mm objective. I haven't noticed any issues out to 125 yds, past that I'll see as soon as my high mtn meadow clears enough for some long range shooting.
