My wife and I enrolled with Suncom December of 2000 for price and "local" coverage area from the Carbondale, Illinois region. From the very first billing statement, we had to contact customer service for "mistakes". These mistakes were eventually corrected after an average of 3 customer service reps and at least 1 supervisor per month. The explanation was "we have a new billing system". I recently moved to the Owensboro, Kentucky area which is about 150 miles away but is still listed on sales flier as local and was verbally verified as local by the Carbondale sales rep. Every bill since October 2001 has been overcharged by at least $114 dollars due to roaming charges and the phone has been shut off twice (but eventually restored due to billing error). Most recently, Customer Service supervisor June Stanford? of the Memphis office, threatened to "take us to court if bill is not paid"
DO NOT DEAL WITH SUNCOM EVER!!
