i signed up when mci first started up and from what i've heard they have yet to improve in the slightest bit. they've only gotten worse.
their plans sound great at first but then your bills arrive.
i was charged for 3, THREE pagers i never had and month after month, i had to endure hours on the phone to get it taken off then the next month, it was put back on, their free minutes somehow turn into charged minutes and you're left thinking mci must be doing quite poorly to have business ethics worse than a drug dealer. at least they deliver for the price mentioned on the spot. haven't seen any mci commercials lately, huh? they'd never be able to advertise their products with their horrible credibility now.
if you want to ruin your credit or lose all your money, then mci's for you.
the customer service and cellular service for the other wireless providers are much better, and they have better 'free' phones. you will notice when you shop around for phones, mci isn't the one standing out in the windows, and if you actually ask sales reps who sell other carriers, they'll warn you against mci. that's a bad sign if ever. and by the 100% repulsion by the others here, you should stay away, FAR FAR away. don't even go near anything related to mci wireless.
