The problem is that many retail stores do not carry every brand and even if they do, the price could likely be higher than most customers are willing to pay. This is why I like to shop online and one site I have used for frangrance purchasing is Fragrancenet.com.

Fragrancenet.com is a web service that is all about fragrance and many who shop here come here because they want to purchase a specific brand of perfume or cologne that is either difficult to find or overpriced at local retail stores. This is what brought me to the site. I knew I could find the perfume I wanted to purchase at my local Macy’s, but I wasn’t so sure I was going to get the best price at Macy’s. So, I decided to go internet shopping and I came across Fragrancenet.com. It had what I wanted for a fair price and there were no shipping charges. I saved money and I got to enjoy the convenience of shopping from home.
Fragrancenet.com has a large inventory of fragrances and one thing I like is that the site sells so many different size options. If I go to a nearby retailer, I will likely find only two size options: 50 ml and 100 ml. Shop for the same perfume at Fragrancenet.com and it is common to find four, five, or even more size options, along with extra products (lotions, aftershave, etc.) that feature the same or similar scent. This is nice when you are shopping for a gift and want a little extra something to add to the package.
Fragrancenet.com arranges items for sale within the main categories listed above, but there are other ways to shop. From the home page, you can shop by misc. categories like “Celebrity Scents”, “for Kids Only”, “Clearance”, and more. The main page even has a place to search for gifts based on a specific price range. This makes it easy to narrow down a search and find exactly what you want that fits the limitations of your budget.
Online coupon discounts always make purchasing easier and one cool thing about Fragrancenet.com is that it offers its own coupon list. You can sign up for the list immediately when you decide to make a purchase and the site will usually have a coupon code ready for you, available for immediate use. I already had a coupon code from another site, so I didn’t need a code when I shopped, but it is nice to have this extra service.
I find many things to like about Fragrancenet.com, but one annoyance did occur during my first shopping excursion. I selected a specific brand of perfume and placed my order. I received a confirmation e-mail and it looked like all was well. But then, I received another e-mail the next day telling me the item was out of stock. Why, I wondered, did the site allow me to make a purchase of something that was out of stock? I should have received a warning message immediately, but it allowed me to go ahead and complete the sale even though the item was not available. I was frustrated by this, but fortunately for me, I placed my initial order about ten days before it was needed. Therefore, I was able to go back, try again, and get my item on time. The fact that there were no shipping charges to pay also made a difference- I was able to forgive and (mostly) forget, although the negative first impression still looms to this day.
Fragrancenet.com offers good, competitive prices on perfumes and colognes, but I have noticed that the pricing for other items- like candles- is not very good. These are not ordinary candles, of course. Some of them have special ingredients, longer burn times, unusual scents, etc., but they are still quite costly and my local retailers offer better deals. The same is true with hair care. Fragrancenet.com offers shampoos, conditioners, and more but the prices are not the best and a quick search through the internet will easily result in better deals elsewhere.
Overall, I consider Fragrancenet.com a good online resource for buying perfume or cologne with good prices for these frangrances and no shipping charges on orders above a certain threshold (currently, over $70). Pricing in other areas of the site isn’t that good, but the site is still a good place to turn when you want a specific perfume or cologne in a specific size offered for a fair price.
