The 8500 suffers from fill problems but is generally faster. However, I haven't seen anything abuse my GeForce 3 ti 200 and I have some good games. You can't go wrong with this card.

This has got to be one of the most influential reviews that I've seen recently of a mid-priced video card. And now that the GeForce4 MX440 cards sell for about the same price as this GeForce3 Ti200, I'd still go for the GeForce3 Ti200; the GeForce4 MX440 is basically a trumped-up GeForce2 MX400 with a few extra hardware features (but sadly, no DirectX 8-compatible hardware pixel shaders).
